I am an RN who just had my second orthopedic surgery at St. Mary's. After a hip replacement three years ago, I was not looking forward to another surgery. Nurses find it tough to be on the "other end" of the picture. But the care at St. Mary's is so special...they all make you feel like you are their only patient.
Special thanks to Coco in Pre-op and Dr. Hoel my anesthesiologist....it is so reassuring to someone from "out of town" to see faces one has seen before. I appreciated Kelly in nursing who figured out how to help my post-op nausea and Debrea in nursing who kept me laughing while taking excellent care of me. My family always felt they were welcome and connected to my care.
I can only hope this will be the last surgery Dr. Wolff has to do for me, but I know that St. Mary's would be my only choice for my care.
