I am a 62 year old woman with chronic back pain/issues. In 1995, I had a spinal fusion that was supposed to get me back to work and help with my debilitating pain. This surgery was not guaranteed and unfortunately did nothing to help my particular situation. I have been unable to work at all. My time is spent in mostly sedentary activities. I have four grandchildren who keep me young and happy. They know all about "Glinda's" problems with certain activities and are kind and careful with me. This is also how I think of the nursing staff here at St Mary's, so kind and gentle with me. Always willing do listen to my complaining and offering their wonderful advice. The nurses will do anything to help ease my pain level. They are positive and forward-thinking and I believe that helps more than just about anything else. So,THANK YOU my wonderful nurses here on the eight floor. I couldn't be this comfy without you!!!!!
