The St. Mary's NICU is proud to be a family centered care unit. We provide a family-friendly environment where parents and siblings are welcome to visit.

We have a council of families whose child was in the NICU and now volunteer to meet monthly and continuously improve a parent and child’s experience in the NICU.

We place a strong emphasis on breastfeeding. Our nurses and Lactation consultants will work with you to establish your milk supply while your infant is hospitalized and make sure you are comfortable with breastfeeding prior to discharge.
