Visiting hours are individualized for each patient. Depending on your situation, visiting may occur at any time. Visiting is open to anyone you wish, regardless of age or relationship.
If you feel you would like to limit visiting hours or restrict who may visit you, discuss this with your nurse.
All visitors are asked to respect your need for privacy and rest. Persons with colds or infectious diseases are asked not to visit. Children are allowed to visit, but should be attended at all times. Gifts of food and beverage should be checked with the nurse to be sure they are compatible with your treatment plan.
Visitors also are asked to respect the needs of other patients. As you determine who and how many may visit you, when they may visit or how long the visit lasts, please keep in mind that others sharing your room may not feel as well and may need a more private and quiet atmosphere.
