The American Stroke Association provides a heart and stroke encyclopedia, information on warning signs, tips on how to cope with life after a stroke and much more.

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke provides a good introduction on stroke as well as a list of national organizations and publications of potential interest. Some resources in Spanish are also provided.

Medline Plus contains links for many different stroke topics, including but not limited to treatment, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Medline Plus is a resource provided by the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Information for seniors and information in Spanish is also available.
