SSM Health Care of Wisconsin Hospitals Receive National Recognition for Quality Care
Madison, WI (June 12, 2014) – SSM Health Care hospitals in Wisconsin are once again among the best in the nation at providing consistent, outstanding patient care while maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence.
St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, and St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital all received their awards from Premier at the organization’s annual Breakthrough Conference and Exhibition, held yesterday in San Antonio.
"SSM works tirelessly to ensure we’re providing the highest quality health care to the communities we serve,” said Damond Boatwright, Regional President/CEO of Hospital Operations at SSM Health Care of Wisconsin. “This recognition is a testament to that commitment.”
Approximately 330 hospitals were eligible to receive awards. They’re part of Premier’s QUEST collaborative, a group of 350 hospitals working to make healthcare safer, more efficient and consistent.
